Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
I’m still here even though I’ve been preeeetty quiet for awhile now.

First things first: Go ahead and unclench your jaw, exhale, and drop your shoulders.

My name is Holly McCorriston and I don’t believe in coincidences.
I do believe you are capable of overcoming the story and self-sabotage keeping you sick, stuck, and small and it can be a lot more simple than you have been lead to believe.

You like simple, don’t you? Keep reading if you do.

Be Your Own Hero.png

I bet you are tired of hearing all about what’s wrong with you. Especially from the voices inside your own head.

Perhaps some of these stories sound familiar?

  1. If only I had worked harder today, I would have got something accomplished.

  2. Why am I so exhausted all the time?

  3. No one else could possibly understand what I’m experiencing right now.

  4. Why can’t I get my shit together? It shouldn’t be this hard!

  5. When I’m done work…when I quit my job…when the kids are done school…when X happens… I’ll be able to breath.

So what does it mean to be your own hero?

It means a few things.

  1. Accepting full responsibility for the life you already have. (And quit blaming everyone and everything else.)

  2. Being willing to change your perspective.

  3. Learning to trust and believe in yourself AND your body again.

  4. Knowing there are things you can do improve your situation AND taking action on them.

  5. Giving yourself permission to peel back the layers on top of who you think you are.

And who are you to guide me through this?

My name is Holly McCorriston. It took me my whole life to realize there were voices and habits in my mind and body that weren’t me, but were controlling me unconsciously like a puppet.

On the outside: Accomplished, ultra independent, in control, busy work-a-holic pharmacist, traveling, paying bills, living life (whatever that means)

On the inside: Feeling like a fraud, uncertain, undeserving, confused, and desperate for something more… something else.

I dove into personal growth and development with a fierce hunger. I was desperate for something to change and I had a pretty big suspicion that it needed to be me. Working in healthcare for over a decade, I was also skeptical of the system as I hadn’t really seen any life changing transformation occur when someone went to a doctor for their depression or anxiety (or anything really, for that matter).

In the end, I was partly right. I didn’t necessarily need to change ME, but I did need to change my mind and my relationship with my own body. My unconscious default settings were creating reactions to everything going on around me and they were not serving me.

I have to admit that there is something so empowering to know that there are simple tools all humans can implement to change those default settings from knee-jerk negative reaction to calm, grounded, laser-focused action.

And now that I’ve got the knowledge, skills, and know-how, I cannot keep it to myself.

There is NO MAGIC PILL and we do not have to stay stuck in our self-sabotaging ways. We have so much more power than we are lead to believe.

I wish someone had come along when I was in the depths of my own miserable story, shook me by the shoulders, and told me I was looking in all the wrong places for the answers. Let me be the one to give you the virtual shake of the shoulders and show you that you are the only one capable of rescuing yourself.

What makes me different from other coaches and trainers out there? Well, I spent over a decade as a pharmacist and saw how broken the health care system is and how it didn’t really enable, empower, or support me or my patients to look after ourselves.

I saw how often the buck was passed, excuses were made, and how low self-worth and disempowering systems were keeping people stuck, sick, and small. I couldn’t do it anymore.

I quit pharmacy in December 2020 as a commitment to the lives of the women I believed I could help change. I went all in.

And you can too.

I’m different from anyone else out there because I practice what I preach. I will never recommend something I haven’t done myself.

And I know that you aren’t broken, no matter how unlovable or unfixable you might feel right now.

Mental fitness changed my life and the lives of the women that have worked with me. It is indeed the X factor for habit building that’s missing from all other programs as it helps you build the mental muscles required to keep those new habits. If you are ready to take back control of your mind and the self-sabotage you have been dealing with your whole life, then please read on to see if I’m someone that can help guide you. It is my privilege to help you uncover your superpowers and yes…be your own hero. You are the only one that can rescue you.

Where do I start?

I know too many women (including myself) that waited for a crisis or catastrophe to take action.

Why in the world would you wait until you break your leg to start going to the gym?

I work with women that are tired of struggling with self-doubt, shame, and feeling stuck. These women have been silently suffering for months or even years, hiding behind walls of perfectionism, strength, and doing-it-all without asking for help. You have indeed been doing it all, but it has cost you your health, happiness, and freedom.

You are tired of pretending to be okay. You are tired of feeling alone. You are tired of wondering what’s wrong with you and how to fix it. You know what to do and you’ve even tried to do it but nothing sticks and you’re exhausted.

You feel like you KNOW what to do but it doesn’t seem to matter what you do, things aren’t improving or they always go back to the way they were to start with.

You know there’s got to be more than life than this and while it’s tempting to keep waiting for the shoe to drop, the leg to break, the house to burn down, the crisis to occur… STOP WAITING.

Start where you are and start now.

YOU are you your own hero and no one else can do this work for you.

You MUST be ready and willing and ready to show up fully and completely for yourself.
